The recently chosen flagbearer of the New Energetic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has vowed to work with every one of the wannabes who challenged him in the Party's Official Essential, and the majority, to win greatly in the 2024 general political race.

"I stand here with significant appreciation and lowliness, having gotten the best distinction of my life. The triumph isn't mine yet our own, from Bogoso to Bolga, from Axim to Zarantinga, as the Party has joined together and picked a way to work as one," he said.

"Still up in the air to work with every one of the wannabes including Kennedy Agyapong who needed to give me a confrontation today."


Dr Bawumia gave the confirmation in his triumph discourse at the Accra Sports Arena on Saturday.

He complimented his kindred wannabes for partaking all the while and extending the popularity based qualifications of the NPP.

The Flagbearer offered thanks to the representatives and every individual who upheld him all through the mission, and vowed to join the Party for the fight ahead in 2024.

"I'm lowered and overpowered by this triumph. My triumph today refirms my conviction that NPP is really a comprehensive party. I'll work with everyone independent of clan or religion."


"Presently how about we run together. Still up in the air to work with every one of the competitors and every one of our allies to accomplish the Party's aspiration of "Breaking the 8".

The desire required the interest of the multitude of hopefuls including Kennedy Agyapong, Dr Owusu Akoto Afriyie, Boakye Agyarko, Kwabena Agyei-Agyepong, Joe Ghartey, Dr Konadu Apraku, Addai-Nimoh and Kojo Poku, he expressed.

While their arrangements might vary on occasion, they shared an enthusiasm for changing Ghana and accepted that the NPP was the main party to do that.


Dr Bawumia gave the affirmation that whenever offered the chance to oversee this country, he would energize the energies of the adolescent, influence on frameworks and current innovation to change the Ghanaian economy.

Ghana had given him such a huge amount throughout everyday life, he noted, and vowed to reward the country.

He said thanks to President Akufo-Addo, who offered him the chance to be his running-mate in 2008 and guided him into the unsure political landscape.


"We are prepared to make serious areas of strength for a persuading case for one more term in office with a new command and another pioneer."

VP Bawumia surveyed 118,210 votes, addressing 61. 43% of the substantial votes cast, while his nearest competitor, Mr Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, surveyed 71,996, addressing 37. 41%.

 Dr Owusu Akoto Afriyie put a far off third with 1,459 votes, addressing 0.76 percent, while Francis Addai-Nimoh earned 731 votes to put fourth, (0.41%)

Dr Serebpur Quaicoe, Head of Constituent Administrations of the Discretionary Commission, declared the outcomes at the Accra Sports Arena.
